Mark and Julie Dixon

Mark and Julie Dixon took over the business from Julie’s parents in 1991. They have been married since 1989 and enjoy working with the great people in Lincolnton NC. They strive to maintain the values Julie's parents established when starting this business. Traditional values, honesty, and customer appreciation is what Factory Mattress Sales is all about. When they are not at Factory Mattress Sales, they enjoy spending time with their children, Rachal and Jacob, working in their yard, going to the beach and playing with their dog, Cooper.

Mark's First Job: Bag Boy at Harris Teeter in Rock Hill, SC.
Julies First Job: Working for her dad at his furniture/ grocery store in Cherryville NC.

Bobby Rainwater

Meet another member of the family. Bobby is Julie’s brother and an essential team member to the Factory Mattress Sales crew! Bobby is the man you will meet if you decide to get your furniture delivered. With a heart of gold and a bubbly personality- you will love meeting Bobby. Talk to him about his ’86 Chevrolet Pickup truck, his love for old cars and old music and you might not get a word in edgewise. He loves talking to anyone, and we could not ask for a better delivery manager!

Rachal Dixon

Mark and Julies daughter, Rachal is a graduate of Appalachian State University and is now a full time sales associate and social media manager. If you send us a Facebook Message, Instagram DM or email us, Rachal will be at the other end of the line. When Rachal is not at Factory Mattress Sales, you can find her at Target, playing with her dog Charlie or in Boone cheering on the Mountaineers.

Favorite Food: ANY kind of potato, but especially Garlic Mashed Potatoes :)

Jacob Dixon

Mark and Julie’s son Jacob, is now a full time employee here at the store. He's the tall guy you might see on your delivery- or peering over Rachal or Julies shoulder learning to be on the sales floor. In his spare time, you can find him restoring his old Camaro, getting muddy riding 4- wheelers or in the Cookout line getting his favorite, a cheeseburger!

Nolen Shrum

Nolen Shrum joined our crew about a year ago, and is now a vital team member. He unloads and loads furniture and mattresses for us, but mainly handles our warehouse and dock area, keeping things running smoothly. When Nolen isn't at the store he enjoys traveling, playing video games and watching movies.

Fun Fact: In 2013 Nolen was actually a contestant on the Price is Right!
